XC05 Securing Wireless with IPsec - WaveSec (2 Days)
In this course the student swill learn how to secure 802.11 wireless
networks using IPsec.
IPsec is the IP security protocol.
802.11 is the very popular wireless ethernet protocol.
At the end of the course the students will be able to deploy Linux based
access points that provide wireless gateway services. The students will
understand how to leverage this ability to securing networks consisting of
many commercial off-the-shelf access points.
This course focuses on use either in very closed networks with well
known (but potentially many) participants, or very open networks such as
conferences. Situations in between where payment is expected
(i.e. "hotspots") are considered out of scope for this course.
This is a hands on course.
