Xelerance to be Platinum sponsor of Ottawa first IPv6 Summit
April 02, 2011: Xelerance Corporation is pleased to announce it will be a Platinum sponsor and a presenter at the first IPv6 Summit, to be held in Ottawa, Canada.
The Ottawa Canada Linux Users Group is organizing the Summit, which will be hosted by the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management.
The objective of the Summit is to prepare industry and government for the impending internet Protocol upgrade.
“With its blend of government and commercial enterprises, Ottawa is the ideal location for the IPv6 Summit, said Sergius Heifa, President of Xelerance. “The expiration of all IPv4 address space now makes IPv6 the backbone of future IP expansion. Already, the Federal Government is feeling pressure to encourage its Departments and Agencies to migrate to IPv6.”
Xelerance’s Patrick Naubert and Paul Wouters will make a presentation on IP security and IPv6.
The conference takes place April 29th, 2011 at the University of Ottawa. Registration is open at http://ipv6summit.ca
